TPC 2012 Programatic call of Input Panel

Has anyone ever tried to progamatically call the Touch Panel (windows CE) "Input Panel"  (small keyboard on the start menu) from LabVIEW.  I'm using the TPC-2012, but I'm sure it's the same for any of the TPC models.

I was just messing around with the native alpha numeric input panel, and I guess it wouldn't do much good to have a programatic call to bring this up because  LabVIEW doesn't recognize the input anyway.  For example, It will let you put letters in a numeric field.  Even if you only put numbers in, it will let you  input them, but the data in the control doesn't really update.  The value on the wire stays the same....

Hey Steve,

What are you trying to do?  I don't understand why you would want to programatically call the Input Panel rather than just sending the string into your program directly.  Maybe we can find a better solution.
