Tag Monitor - high limited

I'm new to DSC and Tag Monitor and I really need to find definitions to the "status" of my tags.  I am getting "bad", "low-limited", and "high-limited" on some of the tags.
What does this mean?!  I can't find any explanation in any of the documentation.

High, or low, limited means that you have scaling enabled, are using the "Coerce to range" option, and the value entered for the variable is either higher than the configured raw maximum or lower than the minimum respectively.

Bad means the source is giving any of a number of quality signals which indicated that the value is not worthwhile data.  You can choose Options >> XX for bad quality and it will replace the value with 'XX' whenever the quality is bad to further indicate that the reported value should not be trusted.

Thanks.  I'll look at this tomorrow.  I figured the "bad" was literal in the sense that there was a bad signal to the specific tag, or none at all.  I am not getting any data from 2 tags that are "bad".  I suspect I have some defective controllers as I have checked everything else in the software.
