First, its not clear what kind of errors you had and what you did to clear them. I can tell though, that you have installed the driver in the incorrect location. You did not follow the installation instructions. Second, before you do anything with LabVIEW, check your com settings and cable in a program such as Hyperterminal. All you have to do is send the command *IDN? and verify you get a response back. Since you are getting an error on the VISA Write, I suspect you will have the same problem in Hyperterminal. Since the driver sets up hardware flow control, you probably have the incorrect cable or the scope is not setup that way.
