I'm trying to connect Tektronix TDS3054B using ethernet cable. I'm having this issue: VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0011) Insufficient location[...]. I checked I downloaded the proper driver 3000series, I've also tried to search via MAX but even manual configuration returns the same error. I'm using LV2013 and I have got installed Signal Express. I can't really figure out where I'm wrong. I checked IP configuration, ping and web interface by the oscilloscope are working.
You do not need to install Tek VISA. So what are all of your IP configuration settings? We would need the settings for both the oscilloscope and your computer to properly diagnose this.
