There's no reason why this fairly recent NI device wouldn't work with 8.0. Do you have a specific issue with the device?

No, I just wanted to make sure it will be controllable via my LV 8.0 before my company will buy this device.
Thanks.

I've never seen NI products not being compatible between HW & SW.

Maybe if the HW is newer and does not support older vintage of software products.
ie DAQmx and LV5.1 (maybe??)

I am using LV 8.5, but my laptop have intermitten problem detecting the usb-9211A.

I have only 2 usb ports, thus the 9211a have to got thru a usb hub. From what i know, this might only constrain it speed, but MAX can't even see 9211a. Any idea what might be the cause?

oetcl,

please do not hijack threads for your own questions. Please post new questions in new threads.

Nevertheless a question from my side:

I understand it that you have connected the USB 9211a using an USB hub. Is the device recognized correctly if connected directly to the laptop?

hope this helps,

Norbert
