Testing NI-9265 Analog Output

I'm testing output of a NI-9265 4-20mA current output using MAX.  The unit passes self test, and now I'm checking voltage across the channel with a 240ohm shunt resistor in place, say between AO0 and COM0.  When running MAX to generate a DC Value, ant say 10mA, I should see about 2.4VDC on my DMM (across the resistor), but I don't.  The DMM reading is less than 1mV.  What's wrong with my approach?

Have you connected an external power supply?

Well, there's your problem. Smiley Wink

Doesn't work without one. See the documentation on the module.

Ok, now things are as expected.  Thanks much for your help.  I  noticed the Vsup terminal and didn't stop long enough to think about it!  Should the COM terminal be grounded on the power supply?
