I have a DMX 33GX264 GIGe camera from The Imaging Source and IMAQdx does not list anything other than 1 fps options under the video mode attributes. Is there something I need to do to be able to see the other video modes available?
I can connect to the camera in IMAX and it displays an image, but only shows 1 fps options. Using the camera manufactures capture software I see the camera has the ability to run from 2 to 50 fps.

I'm guessing (though the Web doesn't really tell me) that this Camera can use some subset of the GenICam protocol (which is why MAX can "see" it). There are a lot (hundreds?) of GenICam attributes that you may (or may not, depending) be able to set and adjust using IMAQdx functions, but this is not the easiest thing in the world to do.
If you are comfortable with C/C++ and the company provides a suitable interface, you might find less frustration going that route.
