One big pro: may improve the coding experience for dyslexic programmers.
Here's a wonderful post by Ben Rayner explaining this:

PRO: Teaching non-programmers to write programs is easy
CON: LabVIEW programmers keep trying to teach me programming

Pros: It allows people without a formal software engineering background to write software.
Cons: It allows people without a formal software engineering background to write software.
I have seen some shocking examples of "programming" from people that do not have the basic concepts of programming. LabVIEW seem to create the illusion that anyone can write software. The reality is that it simply is not the case!
There is an old saying: "Just because you can does not mean you should"!!!

Amazingly, these beginner LabVIEW programs are often fully functional and do the limited job they are supposed to do just fine!
A beginner programmer with a similar skill level in any other language will never be able to even get it to compile or do anything useful.
