The video card drivers

Dear all,
I want to output video image (1024x768 Pixels) via the computer's
monitor connector interface to drive videoprojector in my
experimental setup. For that purpose I plan to purchase separate
video card on PCI bus. Two thing are of main importance for my
application:
1) Accurately control the update (refresh) rate. Actually I plan to
output only 2 alternate pictures with accurately controlled update
rate.
2) To be able to sync the output frames with the NI DAQ
board (data acquisition board) and with another frame grabber.

Please let me know where can I find appropriate drivers
for Matlab or Labview to achieve this goals. I still didn't purchased

the videocard, so recommendations in this respect will be greatly
appreciated as well.
Thank you very much,
 Eugene

Eugene,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

I am not sure about interfacing with 3rd party Frame Grabbers.  However, our Image Acquistion (IMAQ) cards contain a RTSI bus that can be used to interface with other cards.  All of our DAQ and IMAQ cards contain this bus that can be access via a ribbon cable.  The drivers for the DAQ card will be shipped with the DAQ card that you purchase.  We have IMAQ drivers that are available with all of our IMAQ boards that easily interface with our DAQ boards in LabVIEW.  If 3rd party boards or grabbers are involved, then the communication becomes a little hairy!

I hope this is helpful!
