Timing the dataacquisition

If you don't have a data acquisition card (like DAQ card), you can't.

If you want to work with your scope, you need to trigger your scope, as I said earlier.

It's clear that I have to trigger my scope but this is already triggered with a 25 Hz source and I solely need the average of 25 trigger sweeps, that's were the second comes from.

And how do I check by TCP/IP if data is ready for transfer.

Thanks Mara

Did you check on this site if you could find VIs for your oscilloscope, so you don't have to do them yourself? Try to enter the name of your scope and search for it on NI site.

To answer to your question :I don't know, it depends on your device capabilities and protocol.

I checked this site for VIs for my LeCroy Waverunner 6050 Scope. Once there was one on the NI homepage but not anymore. And it doesn't seem that LeCroy supports appropiate Scope- and IVI-VIs which are provided with LabView 7.1.
