Traditional DAQ

Dear all,

I have a problem here.

I can't create any Analog input on the Traditional NI-DAQ Virtual Channel

After open National Instrument MAX, Data Neighborhood, Create new channel, Traditional NI-DAQ Virtual Channel, Analog Input, I input Channel name but it comes out message " Sorry, the name is illegal."

Is there any possible explanation for this? i can't input any name ( either string or numeric )

hello J. W. (Kamijin),

may it be, that you put a numeric character as channel name?
you cannot use only numeric characters in the channel name.

Hi Robert H,

I have try to put all string , all numeric and combination of string and numeric.

anyway i have solve the problem by uninstall the MAX, and reinstall it again.

and somehow it works.
