Trigger source. Start analog output with analog input

Hi,

I'm using LabVIEW 2014 and a cDAQ 9178 and I want to start generating an analog output when a certain level of the analog input is reached. I have seen this daqmx function:

but I don't know what I need for the trigger source. When I fill in the channel of the analog input I get the error 200077. Is someone familiar with this problem?

Few things:

1- That's a generic error number, you'll have to give us the full text of the error you're getting.

2- You didn't post your code so we can't help debug. Please do not post just a picture, use a snippet or just post the VI.

3- A cDAQ-9178 is just a carrier board, what analog input card are you using in that device? The only cDAQ modules that support analog triggering are the 9205, 9206, and 9775. If you don't have one of those analog input modules you cannot do analog input triggering.
