Triggered acquisition problem

Good morning,

my goal is that to perform a N frame triggered acquisition with a Point Grey Grasshopper but I am having some problems with image reading.

In fact, the first of the N images happens to be very much brighter than the others, almost like the camera is somehow enhancing the signal (this enhancement varies in time).

On top of that, apparently randomly in time, the camera acquires 2 of these bright images.

The camera triggers are as expected, so I think it might be that I am doing something wrong when programming the acquisition.

Please find in the attachments the software, the state that I am referring to are "caminit", "acquirewhentriggered" and "Initmeascam".

Thanks in advance

P.S. I know it might look clumsy

We are also trying to acquire a series of timed images with the Grasshopper3.  This is an interesting, but frustrating, camera -- it largely supports the GenICam standard, so you can do a lot with IMAQdx, getting most of the Camera Attributes, but we've discovered that the "rules" for when an Attribute is Readable and/or Writable appear to vary, making it extremely difficult to programmatically manipulate them with IMAQdx.  Plus the manufacturer has two incompatible sets of APIs, each with their own USB3 driver (that is also incompatible with the IMAQdx driver).  We haven't (yet) figured out how to do this ...
