Trouble installing LV 7.1

I'm trying to install LV 7.1 on a windows pc (400Mhz, 256MB Ram) running NT4/SP6a. LV 6.02 and Imaq 6.0.5 are already installed on it also.
After 2½ hours and numerous errors, I've gotten to the point where NI_IMaq 2.6.3 is trying to install. I got an error # 1706 saying that "No valid source could be found for product NI LV 6.0.2.", and that the windows installer cannot continue. LV 7.1 will launch but I need to have NI-IMAQ installed.
I was told by NI sales that LV 7.1 would install fine with another version of LV installed on the same machine. The upgrade notes for LV 7.1 state that upgrading to 7.1 would not affect previous versions on the same computer. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I didn't purchase the SSP, so I guess I can't even call NI for Installation assistance.
Thank you,
Dan Thomas

Sorry I cant help with the installation issue itself, but this part is incorrect. Installation assistance is technically free. SSP is used for development questions/ issues. If it will not install at all this is a valid reason to contact NIs engineers.

Hi Dan,

It looks liek you can get LabVIEW 7.1 to work just fine but cannot install NI-IMAQ. Try to uninstall all previous version(s) of NI-IMAQ before proceeding with the install of NI -IMAQ 2.6.3.
