Trying to include additional installer, LabVIEW wants the wrong distribution

I am trying to build an installer for an application that includes NI-SCOPE 3.7 (3.4 was previously installed, it was removed before loading 3.7). I am trying to include NI-SCOPE 3.7 as an additional installer.

When building the installer, LabVIEW is asking for the NI-SCOPE 3.4 distribution discs. I do not want 3.4, I want 3.7. How do I fix this so that LabVIEW uses 3.7?

Hi User1000,

Could you double check that you have only NI-SCOPE 3.7 checked in the Additional Installers category? You might be getting this message if NI-SCOPE 3.4 and 3.7 is checked. In addition, you could try repairing the install of the NI-SCOPE 3.7 driver.

Only 3.7 is checked; 3.4 is not included in the list as it was removed. Also, I tried repairing the 3.7 install with no success.

Hi User1000,

What version of LabVIEW are you using? How did you 'remove' NI-SCOPE 3.4? Was this done through uninstalling or deleting files?

Version is LabVIEW 8.6. I had installed NI-SCOPE 3.4 and discovered that it was not supported by 8.6. I removed using the Windows uninstaller and installed 3.7.

Hi User1000,

Could you please verify that NI-Scope 3.4 does not show up in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer under Software. Also, make sure that any NI SCOPE specific VIs that are included in your code are included in 3.7. You could try to deleting those VI's and including them again in the project. Another suggestion I have for you is to try to make a new project and move your code over to the new project and try to build again. Finally, would it be possible for you to include some screenshots or your code?
