If you haven't already, I would make sure to install the latest version of NI-DAQ (7.3).
Are you performing any tasks with the 6016 when you turn it off? What kind of tasks are you running for the day that the DAQPad is on? Also, are you getting any error before your computer resets? Or just a blue screen?
