USB-6008 Wont COnnect to computer anymore

I recently updated to a new computer with Windows 7 and have had quite a time trying to get old vi's working. I'm using LABView 2010. I have 2 USB-6008 that seemed to be going in and out of operation. Another post led me to put all DAQ devices on a powered USB Hub. When I did this the computer stopped recongizing them all together. I have a GPIB/USB connected as well that works fine. I tried a brand new USB-6008 and it came up initially without the HUB but now wont come up with either connection. I updated the DAQ-mx driver to 9.3 without luck. Now I have taken the Daq back to the original XP computer and those wont recongnize them and under MAX it has the dev ices listed as USB 1 and 2 with an X.

DId I somehow fry all my devices? or is there something else I can try?

Problem solved. These Things are Fried. The power supply for the hub was 12V instead of 5V. wham bam they're gone. I got two fresh ones and the correct power supply and things are working great.

Side note I believe the externally powered hub and DAQmx 9.3 driver solved the problem of disconnecting

Re: Hubs .... I've been using Startech 4-port hubs recently... A little more $$ than the run-of-the-mill consumer-grade stuff, but they can take 7-24VDC on the terminal block and work real well.  I can hook that hub right up to my motorcycle battery and charge phone/helmet camera/ipod right from that.

Even with a decent hub... I've not had good luck with Win7 and 6008's (well, win7 in general).
