USB BT Adapter with MS-drivers without PAN support..Possible?

Hi all,

My Labview application (PC, Win XP, SP2, Labview 8.0) consists of reading data
that are transmitted via Bluetooth from a remote device (mC with BT tranceiver).
For adding BT capabilities in my PC, I use a USB Bluetooth Adapter (actually I tried with
two models - Belkin and D-Link) .

In order to use the BT labview functions, based on previous suggestions in Labview forums,
I didn't install the drivers from the cds. I just added in the BT inf file their
ID Hardware address and let the WinXP recognise them...and it does.

The problem is when I am about to start the connection with my BT tranceiver.
When I add it as a BT device, it is recognised and virtual COM are assigned (SPP).
But when I try to add it in the Personal Area Network (PAN), it is not found...
Without adding it, I cannot ask and establish a BT connection..

I'm afraid that with MS-drivers the PAN profile is not supported..
But with the CD-drivers, is the Labview that doen't support the adapter..

Any ideas?

Thank you!
