Alright, I sure appreciate everyones input on how to make my job easier. Unfortunately I don't really have much time to work on USB support, and adding the string to the DLL only takes about 30 seconds (although writing to the discussion thread and updating adds another 30 seconds). But for now, I am going to stick with this method until we come out with something better (unfortunatley I don't have a timeline, but believe me this isn't my preffered way of supporting USB either).
So, Thanks again for everyone's input on how to make this process better, but I think the time involved to make it better would exceed the current process. As soon as we do have a more official driver, I'll make sure you all know about it and it definitely won't have this problem:>

When I distributed my application I installed NI Vision Developer version 8.0 only to instal IMAQ for USB.
Then I removed developer engine and installed Vision 8.0 Runtime engine and also Labview 8.0 runtime engine.
