USB camera "could not be initialized properly" in vision assistant, error code unknown

Hello,

I'm trying to connect a uEye usb camera to vision assistant. The first time I plugged it, it worked and I could acquire images. But now when I try to acquire images it tells me that the "specified image acquisition device could not be initialized properly", with the error code 1073774583. The thing is I didn't do anything special between the first and second time ...

Plus, since this morning vision assistant doesn't detect the integrated camera of my computer, which it could detect without any problem before.

I have the 2010 version of Vision Assistant.

Any idea to help ?

Hi Alex,

It sounds a bit like your DirectX driver has tripped over. I've had a quick look around google but I haven't been able to find a quick and easy way to reset the driver short of a full system restart. If you have a chance it might be worth having a google yourself.

Any chance a windows System restore can get you up and running with your integrated camera again?

I'm afraid I will be away until the end of next week, but if you've made any progress or had an ideas please do let us know.
