USB device does not appear in MAX list

I am trying to interface my own USB based hardware with LabVIEW. This device is listed in control panel & also we are able to acquire data using VB. However MAX of labVIEW does not show the device.

Please Help

You need at least NI-VISA 3.0 installed to communcate with your USB device. NI-VISA supports two modes for USB communication: USBTMC and RAW mode.

You have to install your USB device. This procedure is described here.

After the installation the device should show up in the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) with the appropriate resource name.
