i download a labview driver for this instrument and i  verify the connection with NI MAX but when i run the VI i have this error any help please

Hello ahmedkochbati92,

How are you communicating with the instrument? And what LabVIEW version are you using? If you are trying to communicate with GPIB you need to install the NI 488.2 driver, as well as NI VISA driver. Hope this helps.

I think it's just something weird with the example you are using.  I get the same error using that example.  I've never had any problems using the instrument, though.  Have to poke around a bit to see what it's doing...

It may be you don't have a signal going into the counter.  It will respond this way when there is nothing to measure.
