USB question

Hi

I have a question for the people that start to use LV6i already.

In the diagram window you can open the Instrument IO window that gives
you the options of VISA, 488, 488.2, Serial and VXI under LV5.1 Is this
still the same under LabView 6i or is there now a USB option also? If
not, is USB now supported under LV6i because we have a couple of really
great projects that we would love to do with USB as the connectio medium
to the PC.

Regards

It´s like Lw5,1 but the serial is now in visa commands.

USB is not supported that way, and I asked the developers when but they don´t
know.

The palette is somewhat different, but there is no USB support. Checking
the VISA Interactive Control program does not show and USB ports even
though there are installed (I think) on my machine. Hence it
would seem
that you will still need to communicate via some sort of driver layer to
USB.
