Unable to get hpe364xa Labview dirvers to work

Even with the getting started VI that comes with the driver for the Agilent E364xA power supply I am unable to control my E2645A instrument. I always get the following error:

hpe364xa Initialize With Options.viDriver Status: (Hex 0xBFFA004C) The optionsString parameter contains an entry with an unknown option value.

Surprisingly I get the exact same error, when I exchange the initilize with options VI for the initialize without options VI:

hpe364xa Initialize.viDriver Status: (Hex 0xBFFA004C) The optionsString parameter contains an entry with an unknown option value.

Any idea what could be the cause of this?

Heiko,

I looked at this instrument driver from our web site and found that although it is for the 364xA instruments, that it only supports E3640A, E3641A, E3642A, E3644A models. (This is version 2.1 of the driver. Is this the version that you have?) This may be the issue. I would contact Agilent and let them know that the software they are shipping with their instrument does not function correctly.
