Unable to locate LabVIEW RunTime Engine

Have you installed the correct bit version of the RTE ?

What bit version of LabVIEW are you using?

I installed the 64 bit RTE, if that s what you are asking.

I use the same 64 bit version...Is there a place I can double check the same ?

Did you use 64-bit LabVIEW or 32-bit LabVIEW?

Both can run on 64-bit Windows.

If you used 32-bit LabVIEW, then you need to install the 32-bit LabVIEW Runtime Engine.

Thanks for clearing the ambiguity. For some reason I thought it was a 64 bit Labview that gets installed by default. It s the other way around. The latest labview installed would be 32 bit by default unless it is for vision applications and such.( The help menu shows it).

I will need to install a 32 bit RTE in order to run my 32 bit application.
