Unable to operate the Field Point

I used to operate the compact Field Point using Real Time in Labview version 7.0. However, After I have changed to Labview version 7.1, I am unable to control the compact Field Point (cFP-2000). I have changed the software icon in the Measurement and Automation Explorer to Labview version 7.1. However, when I came to check the status of the cFP-2000, it staed that it was offline. I am very sure that the connection was right and the RT target was on. Besides, I also go t amessage saying "fail to download FP write". May I know what should I do in order to fix the connection of the cFP-2000 and my PC?

Hello gvaijc,

I think some software upgrades/installations should resolve the issue.

1) Do you have both LabVIEW 7.1 and LabVIEW 7.1 RT installed?
2) Did you reinstall the FieldPoint Driver software after upgrading LabVIEW and LabVIEW RT?
3) Did you go into MAX and update the software on the cFP-2000?

If the answer to any of these questions is "no", please install the appropriate software.
