Unable to save a SubVI with Queue Ref control

I'am unable to save a VI with a Queue Ref control. I am trying to make a subVI that can enqueue an array of elements. The data type of the element is an enum that I save as Type Def (see the attached VIs). If I disconnect all links to the Type Def, I can save it...

The data type as to be a Type Def because if I add some states to the state machine, the queue reference has to be update...

Platform: Win XP SP2, Labview 8.0

Thanks

Hi LaF,

I tried running your example program and was able to save the VI with queue (in) and queue (out) reference controls. I simply right-clicked on the queue on the block diagram and created a reference.

Can you provide a more specific step-by-step instruction to display this behaviour? Cheers.

Thanks Michael to take your time...

It seems that I have something unstable with my VI... After I reed your reply, I try to do what you did and still unable to save my VI...

But I modify my enum from Type Def to Stric Type Def and it comes OK. So I try to comeback to Type Def and it still OK!

Thanks again Michael .

Best Regards...

LaF
