I noticed that there are older NI Labview run-time engines 6.1, 7.0 and 7.1 installed. Are the 2 older versions safe to be uninstalled?

The runtime engines are independent, they coexist without a conflict. you may unistall one without afftecting the operation of the others, or applications that requires the other runtime engines

In addition, if you ever need those runtime engines again, you can download them free from NI's website.
