Hi,
I have a bunch of older version (version 5) vi's. Could anyone please upconvert them to version 8.5. You help will be appreciated.
Thank you

You have a bunch of missing subVIs, and you've included what appears to be the distribution of DAQ Solution Wizard, which I think may have been part of Traditional DAQ. I'm not sure about this, though. Whatever the case, this cannot be converted since some of the core VIs have no block diagrams, and hence upconverting of this is not possible. You would need to get a recent version (if one exists), or convert the code to use DAQmx. So, which VIs are actually supposed to be upconverted?

Hi smercurio_fc,
Whe have bought these drivers directly from GW instruments, and they don't have any solution for us for upgrading.
We send it to you because our commercial dealer in France ask to do it just before I wrote this mail.
I understand the conflict that it may cause, but what other solution exist ?

I understand your dilemma, but legally there's nothing I, now anyone else on this board, can do. All we have is your word that your commercial dealer said it was "OK". Remeber, this is a public forum, so it's available world-wide. The moderator has already deleted the upconvert request. GW Instruments can try to work with NI to get the software upgraded. I would think you're not the only customer who needs this, so I think your best bet is to work directly with GW Instruments.

Hi azlan,
I think you're better done opening the PID toolkit functions palette and it's examples.
The SimplePID.vi was delivered with older LV versions and has been upconverted here in this thread atleast once - give the search feature a try!
