Upgrade of MAX to 4.1 loses MAX database

After upgrading NIDAQmx, Legacy NI-DAQ & MAX,  I find that MAX has lost connection to its database.  The procedure shown here <http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/39dc93ea6337a6be86256ffd005b827c>  does not seem to work.  Has anyone else had this problem or have a solution?

I am replying to my own post after finding a solution on my own.

The solution was to do a repair install of my LV8.20 by going to:

Windows XP | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs | Change or Remove Programs | National Instruments Software | Change.

in the resulting dialog window:

Select NI Labview 8.2

and then

Click the Repair button.

When the repair completes, select the restart option.   After Windows restarts,  MAX will be able to find its database and will list your installed software and device configurations.
