Urgent ! Accentuated chars and Email

I'm fighting to find the proper character set to be used for a correct coding/decoding of messages sent using the "smtp Email send file.vi". I have made a few experiments with the us-ascii and isolatin-1 char sets, with no success. 😠
To date, I get correct results only when sending messages from Macintosh to Macintosh using the... "macintosh" char set 😛
I would really appreciate some help here. Specially to find a working solution for a Mac to PC communication !

Still in heavy hurry to solve this accentuation problem. But I also have a few more difficulties, related to bugs in the MacIntosh implementation of LV reports.

Problem 1 : already reported : management of localized characters on the variopus platforms. Nothing in the documentation. Nothing on the forums

Problem 2 : Standard reports are not available on the Macintosh, only HTML

Problem 3 : Font settings : the font size can't be changed on Macintosh, stucked to 10

Problem 4 : A report created on MacIntosh (html - Arial - font size 10) appears in size 36 when read on a PC

Enough for the moment. I'm using LV 7.1 on a Powerbook (OS 10.3.9).
