Use PC as real time LabVIEW master to communicate to different slaves.

Hello,

                                    We have just started working on the EtherCAT communication protocol, and we are planning to develop a custom application in Labview RT which would communicate to different slaves, is there any commercial drivers available for EtherCAT communication.

Ok, what kind of slaves? National Instruments makes their own EtherCAT hardware. If you want to know if other manufacturers make EtherCAT drivers, look up the manufacturer on their website.

As we have already informed,

We are planning to deploy the customised EtherCAT master in LabVIEW RT which should commmunicate to any slave[hardware] irrespective of the manufacturer .

The Master should be of EtherCAT standards and also should be generalised to talk to any slave.

but i think that drivers will talk to only EtherCAT hardware[NI 9144].

we want drivers which can communicate to any hardware.
