Use pulse train as clock source and output to digital channel

Hi folks.

I am trying to use a pulse train as a clock source for a digital waveform output. I also want to output the pulse train to a digital channel (for instance dev1/P0/line0).

I am using a USB-6289.

My problem is that I am new to LabVIEW and I can't figure out how to use the the pulse train (I have searched the forum and I have gotten this far - see VI attached) as a clock properly.

My other issue is that as I try to output the pulse train to a digital I/O channel or line, LabVIEW warns me that I can't use a digital line and the board internal counter in a simultaneous fashion.
