Using G-MAS elmo as a master ethercat instead of CompactRio

Dear Community, 

 As part of my internship, I am trying to use G-MAS Elmo as Master Ethercat instead of CompactRIO to communicate with Elmo drivers. 

My questions are :

1- Is it possible to use " SDI Plug-in - Elmo Gold (System) by Elmo Motion Control - Toolkit for LabVIEW " to ensure the ethercat communication with the master ethercat elmo 

2-Is there a guide, similar VI that may help me
