Using LabView to control the HL5500PC(Bio-Rad)

Dear all,

I would like to ask if anyone know how to control the HL5500PC, which is produced by BIO-RAD more than 10 years ago, using LabView.

     I appreciate the help!!!

Thanks

HI Jack,

What type of device is this? I believe you would need to have drivers to be able to communicate with this device in LabVIEW. What is your exact hardware setup. Have you tried getting in touch with BIO-RAD to see if they have any drivers available for LabVIEW?

Since it does not appear that anyone here has any experience with this instrument, if you want some help, you will have to provide a lot more information. What type of interface does the instrument have? GPIB, RS-232, Ethernet, USB, something else? Do you have a manual? If you don't, then there is little that anyone can do. If you do have one, can you post an electronic copy? Without seeing a manual, I don't know how much help anyone can give you.
