Using PXI 5105 and DAQ assistant to get some voltage readings

I am using a NI PXI-1033 with NI PXI 5105, PXI 5406, PXI 4065 and PXI 4110 cards connected to the machine. So i am trying to get some voltage readings, i have 2 channels to read, so i am guess using pxi 5105's channel 0-7 can be helpful to do some DAQ reading to the labview. However, when i tried to use the DAQ assistant in the labview to acquire analog voltage, it says "No supported device found", but i already tried the "Measurement and the Automation Explorer" tools to check the hardware is connected properly or not. I used the test channel and it gives me proper reading. So i am not sure how to use the lab view and pxi 5105 card to get the voltage from my dc voltage generator. Since i am new with the labview and NI system, can anyone help me with the acquision part. Just want to see the 2 channel's reading in the labview.

thanks

Hello Carleton,

The 5105 card does not fall under the multi-function daq category, and this is the reason why the DAQ assistant does not recognize it.  You should instead start with a shipping example that can be found by going to Help»Find Examples»Hardware Input and Output»Modular Instruments»NI-SCOPE.  All functions for devices using the NI-SCOPE device driver can be found in the Functions palette»Measurement I/O»NI-SCOPE
