Using SR844 and SR850 Lock ins with Prologix GPIB USB driver?

Hi,

I am using the Prologix GPIB-USB converter here. I amusing the standard VIs for the Stanford Research instruments found on NI's website and this was previously functioning with an NI GPIB-USB converter but that is no longer available and I now have the Prologix converter. Should this still work or will I need to alter the code or use different VIs?

With the NI converter the devices each came up as GPIB devices in the NI Measurement & Automation explorer but with the Prologix converter they come up as a single COM device (COM3). I suspect this might have something to do with my problem but I'm not sure.

See the attached file. I'm happy to provide more info or screen shots of the block diagram

They probably shouldn't both be COM3... Are you sure that's what's happening?

When you connect them at the same time (I'm assuming you have two adaptors, one per instrument) they should be assigned separate COM ports. Depending on the specific adaptors, it might be that they change the number they're assigned to depending on which USB port, and the order, and so on. That can be annoying but your Device Manager should at least allow you to troubleshoot it.
