Using Sound Output Write - Play different tones on left and right speaker

Ok ... for the life of me, I can't figure this out.  What I am trying to do should be fairly simply ... I want to be able to send differnet tones to each speaker at the same time.. I've been able to do this with only the right speaker so far and I have not been able to find any answers on the forums.  In fact, I can't even seem to figure out how to send the sound output to the left speaker.  Does anyone know how this can be done using the Sound Output Write function?  thanks in advance for any advice

Sounds like you need to create a stereo audio file (perhaps an audio-phyle could help Smiley Very Happy - sorry I couldn't resist...)

Thanks for the reply mikeporter.

Just to let everyone know, my I am no longer required to do this so I will not be spending much time on it in the future.

I was using the generate square waveform VI to create the waveform to play with Sound Output VI.  This seems only to play on the right speaker.
