Using a simulated driver session in labview

Hello, i have a labview driver for a dcps but dont have the hardware to test it, so i need to configure a simulated device from NI MAX. I created a driver session and then assigned it to a logical name, but when i go into labview and try to use the logical name to initialize my driver i cant find it. Is there a step im missing to be able to see the logical names in the list of possible available VISA rn?

Simulating VISA devices is not as simple as that. Most IVI drivers support some form of simulation but VISA only drivers don't. They expect to talk to real hardware unless they implement something specifically themselves.
