Using shape detection on live video

Hi everyone!

I am trying to detect circles on my video extracted from USB webcams.

Therefore, I was thinking if it is possible to use shape detection on videos. 

From what I have found, it seems that shape detection can only be done on images.

If it is possible, how do I go about doing it?

It's not too dificult, but you need the Vision Development Module to do Shape Recognition. If you have that, then you need to use IMAQdx (driver) to communicate with your USB camera. You can grab frames in the LabVIEW image format that way, and then process them as needed.
