What physical layer are you talkinga bout?  What do the 4 bits represent?  What do you mean by "logical bit to find them?"?

I know very little. Professor has asked us to us. I am a student of Information Technology., And questions related to the subject of computer networks. In networks there is a layer called the Physical Layer.
Asked us to send a signal equivalent to 4 bits in a bit of logic to find them.

4 bits are represented in LabVIEW with a boolean 1D array of 4 elements...
