Using voltage input to USB 6009 as trigger to start data aquisition

I'm running my experimental setup and timing using a Signal Generator and i need to program my USB6009 to start aquiring data when it recieves a signal from the generator. So far my set up is basically to have the sig gen produce a square wave which is recieved at ai0 and at the leading edge of this wave i want the Data Logger to delay for 1second and then aquire data into another input (e.g.ai1). Then i want this cycle to continue for a nominated nubmer of cycles.

Any suggestion?

Sarah,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments.  Not all of our boards support analog triggering.  The USB-6009 only supports digital triggering.  You are also limited in your programming byusing Data Logger.  It may be possible to accomplish this task using a digital trigger in LabVIEW.
