I would like to dynamically call and run a VI and
have its front panel close after it is called.
The method I tried was:
1) Open VI Reference to the VI.
2) Set Front Panel.Open and Exec.CloseFPAfterCall
Properties to True.
3) Use Invoke Node (Run VI with Wait Until Done =
True)
4) Close VI Reference.
No matter what I do I can't get the Called VI's
front panel to close after the user quits or
exits the VI. What am I doing wrong?
My only thought is that the Exec.CloseFPAfterCall
Property only works on Called VI's that return a
value.
Also I'd like to avoid using VI server from
within the Called VI's diagram because I have a
lot of individual VI's that I would like to call.
