VI "..." was stopped at node 0x9c of subVI IMAQ Dispose

I receive this message frequently but not regularly when running a VI working with appr. 20 images. All these images are created as the first step in the main loop and disposed with "IMAQ Dispose", parameter "dispose all" set to true, at the end of the loop. Is there a way to know what exactly makes "IMAQ Dispose" hang?

This is not much to go on to find a reason why it would hang.
First make sure you are running the latest version of NI-IMAQ 2.5.5 
Saecond pare down the code to the smallest amount which will reproduce the issue. If this does not make the solution obvious post the code and I'll take a look at what's happening.
