VI stuck running cannot get to diagram

I created a program and added EXIT to it. When I run LV to edit the program I can't get to the block diagram because it automatically runs on start and the EXIT button exits LV. How do I get out of this so I can edit my program? :0)

Hello,

Drop the VI as a subVI on another VI's diagram and then you can open it and edit it.
