VI will not float

When I select the VI property of ‘Floating’ it works well when running LabView only.  When I want my VI to ‘Float’ above other applications, like when I am running Excel, the window will not ‘Float’.  I have selected the ‘Hide when LabView is not active’ property and I have also unselected the ‘Hide when LabView is not active’ property.  There is no difference.  My goal is to have a VI built as an .exe that will Float above any window present on my PC.  Help??? Jeff

Check out the the Make Windows Always On Top.vi in lvwutil32.zip.  You can download this zip file from the NI web site.

Have fun with it.
