VISA 3.1 of LabView 7.1 has problem with laptop window 2000

I wrote an application in LabView 7.1 using VISA 3.1. In this application, I used USB communication with
our instruments. This application works fine in Window 2000/XP desktop, and Window XP laptop except
Window 2000 laptop.
Will VISA 3.3 solve this problem?

Thanks,

Pana

What kind of error did you receive? Did you run a NI-SPY capture to see at where the appplicaiton failed? Upgrading to NI-VISA may solve the problem but without knowing what the problem really is, it's hard to tell if a new driver will fix it.

Pana,

I have seen Laptops where the BIOS switch off nearly all ports if the Laptop powers up with battery supply only. And it wasn't shown in the windows system..

The VISA 3.3 driver did solve the problem.

Thank you for all your help.
