VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) error

Hello,

I am trying to use actuators via labview. Theses actuactors are connected with a rs232 cable.

I also have a newport software that works fine. So everything should be ok.

But when I try to control the actutors via labview I get no response.

So I tried with MAX, and I get a VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) error when I try to query. There is an error with the read operation.

I know it is just a basic issue since everything is fine with the newport software. I looked at every post here about that but no valid answer for my case.

Anyone solved this problem ?

Since it works with the vendor's software, you are either sending the wrong command or the command with an incorrect termination character. Since you have not provided either, it is impossible to determine which is wrong. This answer has actually been given numerous times and usually with the same recommendation to attach the code and/or the details of what is being sent.
