VISA Read to file

hi there,
Can somebody help me with VISA read to file VI for which I tried to get
help from the ni website but no luck.
What does it do and how do I use it???

Sir
Labview gives me an error saying that an error occured while performing
I/O on the specified file.
any help for this error????
