Hello All,
I've searched the boards for something like this and I haven't been able to find anything. I'm looking for some Valid and Verifiable (V&V) documentation regarding the Rainflow counting algorithm we've found here on the community site.
There's some limited discussion of the Rainflow VI's being used - and I've found a handful of discussions regarding the VI conforming to the ASTM 1049 Standard, however I haven't been able to find any documentation that covers the V&V for the results. I have every confidence that it "is" producing ASTM 1049 results, but without the V&V the results are less useful to us.
Does ANYONE, particularly those of you who have been involved with this VI, have any kind of V&V record for this? I've always assumed this was a "hand-made" VI; if it's not, does NI's certification cover the V&V for its usage?
Looking for any help there is on this.
Thanks,
Milon

Your best bet is to post a message within that community page, but I see you've already done this.
NI's certification does not extend to examples in the NI Communities page. All code posted there is the responsibility of the poster. This is stated at the bottom of the page.
